THE DRIVER
Driver Dave Barrett developed a love of racing and mechanics during his childhood watching his dad race at Brighton Speedway. In 2017, Dave took the driver's seat of the #97 with his dad and family by his side. The 2018 season brought the team back to the classic Blue and Yellow colour scheme on the Monte Carlo Thunderstock. Dave has driven the car to quite a lot of success, finishing every season he has started at Brighton Speedway and travelling to Brockville Speedway, Humberstone Speedway, Cornwall Speedway and Merritville Speedway. Dave has showcased the car unfailingly every Saturday night, always with a determined and driven confidence to make his team and sponsors proud. For the 2024 season, you can see Dave competing in the Thunderstck AND the Late Model division.
